LUXE 4 LESS – CHIC SHOPPING

Hi Lovelies… So Friday came and the fabulous @thechicrebellion_ and I have joined up again bringing you “Luxe 4 Less” every Friday in Sept… This is an Edit where we select a trend and show a high priced item along with a moderate priced item and a perfectly priced item showing that you can still buy luxury without sacrificing quality at the lower price points. We hope you enjoy our edits as much as we enjoy putting then together. I’d love to hear your comments.

This Friday I selected COMBAT BOOTS (lace-up boots) and I will show you a few different options from a higher price point to a moderate price point to the won’t break the bank price point. In this Sept Edit “Luxe 4 Less” we select a higher priced item and show how you can find an item similar to the higher priced item at a moderate price for the person who is willing to pay a little more and then we show a fairly priced item that we feel is perfectly priced without sacrificing quality.

1. Saint Laurent – you will always find quality here but you will pay a little more. However, if you’re willing or can spend the extra money it’s an amazing brand and these boots are awesome.
Here are 4 of my fav SL combat boots and you can purchase (here), (here), (here) and (here)

2. Acne – these are great classic combat boots with a twist. They have an amazing side zipper and a rounded pointed toe with a thick sole. A funky fun combat boot. The price isn’t so bad and it’s a great quality shoes that you can invest in and have for years to come. These boots can be purchases at Barney’s (here)

3. Dr Martens – these are your classic combat boot and are a great price. These particular boots I loved b/c they are all black. The thread on the soles is black as opposed to the classic yellow thread on Docs. These boots are made very well, the leather is nice and for $125 you can’t go wrong. Find them at NastyGal (here)

4. Zara – the ever so faithful Zara never disappoints…always bringing us trends at great prices without sacrificing quality. Zara shoes are made pretty well and if you are looking to buy a trendy shoe, but don’t want to spend a ton Zara or are just on a budget or just don’t wanna spend much Zara is the way to go. These boots can be worn buckled or unbuckled preferably I like them unbuckled for the cool chic vibe. These are shiny and some ppl may not like shiny, but I tried these on myself and they’re super cool and the shininess makes them tough looking and cool #toughchic Find these (here)

FRIDAY 5 FALL EDIT – PART 5

Sadly this is our last Fall Edit and the fabulous @thechicrebellion_ and I have enjoyed bringing you our Fall Edits.  We hope you’ve enjoyed it as well.

This Friday I have selected FALL COLORS.  I feel that these 5 colors will be strong for fall and are 5 great colors/colorway for Fall.  I would love to hear your comments and which colors you feel will be strong for Fall. 🙂

1. BLACK/WHITE – who doesn’t love this colorway? I know I LOVE it! It’s been seen for quite some time, but will continue strong for fall.  Here are some of my inspirations.

2. COBALT – this color has been strong too for awhile but will continue strong for Fall.  A good way to add color to you wardrobe if you’re not used to color (like me) is to try a pair of cobalt heels, a skirt or a blazer. Below you will find a few of my inspirations.  Here are a few cobalt pieces you can purchase as well (here), (here) & (here)

3. EMERALD – such a pretty deep green color.  To me it’ s a bit scary to wear color, but when done right and subtly it looks very chic.  I love the emerald t-shirt look below… that’s a great way it incorporate color into your wardrobe. Purchase some emerald (here), (here) & (here)

4. SCARLET – this is by far my favorite of all pop colors.  I love this shade of red and own a blazer in this color from Zara.  I can’t tell you how many compliments I get on this blazer. Something about the color red that just pops. Try this color in a blazer, bag or even a great pair of shoes. Try (here), (here) & (here)

5. PASTELS – Ok, so these are typically spring colors and it’s so fun to see them in fall.  I saw these colors last fall which I am sure all of you have as well and they aren’t going anywhere this fall either… they are here to stay for Fall 14 and will probably continue through Spring 15.  Here are some of my inspirations.  A pastel blazer, coat and sweater are great ways to rock these colors for Fall.
